Neymar & Sanchez to PSG deal explained & possible lineup for 2017/2018 season

In this summer transfer window, we witnessed one of the most shocking & biggest transfers in Leonardo Bonucci’s move to Ac Milan. If rumours are to be true, we are in for another.  Neymar Junior to PSG is the biggest speculation dominating all the headlines of all the media houses, and if this deal does happen, this ought to be the mother of all transfers and Neymar will beat Pogba as the world’s most expensive player (which is great from a Manchester United perspective).
Sanchez is also another player who is rumoured to a move to the French giants.
If these two deals in Neymar & Sanchez do happen, PSG are surely strong contenders in the 2017/2018 Champions League.

Reasons why Neymar would leave Barcelona:

1)    Neymar is 25, it’s about time he becomes the main man at a football club.

2)    PSG’s deal is very remunerative to Neymar as it provides him the opportunity to be the poster boy, the opportunity to be one of the best paid in the world and the alluring Paris life.

   3)  No matter what he does at Barcelona, he will remain under Messi’s shadow, and Messi has another good 4-5 years in him, so that makes Neymar to be 30 to be the main man at Barcelona.

  4)  Neymar being the main man at a football club will increase his image rights and it will bring that extra responsibility, which might as well get the best out of him.

How PSG would benefit from the deal:

1)  Signing Neymar = attaining the spotlight. PSG would be viewed more, will lure more TV and media coverage.

2)  An opportunity to have a real shot of winning the Champions League.

3)  Generate shirt sales.

4)  The commercial part of football for PSG will be on an all time high.

So there are several questions arising how PSG would trigger that £197million release clause of Neymar and sign Sanchez along:

    1)  PSG wouldn’t pay the whole £197million at one shot, there will be installments paid every year by PSG for a specific period of time, which will be negotiated between the two clubs.

    2)  PSG will pay a massive amount of money, upfront, which will be around £80m.

    3)  Suppose Neymar signs a 5 year contract with PSG, then (£197m-£80m=£117m/5 years =£23.4m for the next 5 years). The same applies in Sanchez’s deal, depending on his transfer fees which should be around £75m-£80m.

   4) There is a possibility that Verratti could be included in the deal and according to latest rumours, Lucas Moura could be another player that could be added, but it will still be recorded as 2 different transactions in the books of accounts.

   5)  We all know FFP is nonsense and one can expect PSG having plans to execute the deal, they will pull out some sponsorship/commercial deals. FFP is just a policy that ensures football clubs don’t face bankruptcy.

   6)  After Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar is arguably Nike’s biggest client and is also one of the best footballers in the world, which makes him very marketable in the world, in the regions of South America and especially in Asia, so that will help PSG to generate money from commercial activities.

  7)  Nike pays £21.5m a year to PSG as their kit sponsors, just like Adidas pays £75m to Manchester United.

Furthermore, PSG will offload several players to balance their books of accounts and that will help them to generate revenues. We have seen Inter Milan doing exactly the same, when they had to generate €30m before 30th June 2017. They somehow generated €30m by selling non-starters and eventually got away from their FFP troubles.

The players that PSG could possibly sell:

1)  Di Maria to Inter Milan for £45m: After clearing their FFP problem, Inter will sign few players & possible Ivan Perisic’s replacement and cannot see Di Maria having a place in that PSG side, when you have likes of Neymar & Sanchez. Matter of fact, Inter Milan are rich.

2)  Blaise Matuidi to Juventus for £20m: Tried leaving PSG last season, and this season he is likely to leave for the old lady, as reported by Di Marzio.

3)  Lucas Moura to AS Roma for £25m/£30m: After the big money sales in Salah & Rudiger, Roma obviously have the money and will look for new signings.

4)   Serge Aurier to Spurs/ManUtd for £28m: Was left out for from PSG’s pre-season squad and looks on his way out. Spurs leading the race and are looking to replace Walker.

5)   Grzegorz Krychowiak for £25m: Another player who is confirmed for a move away from PSG, likely to be Inter/Galatasaray.

6)  Ben Arfa is reported to be leaving for Fenerbache for a fee of £3.36m + bonuses. Football wage tax is very low in Turkey, approximately 10%. The deal would make sense.

7)  Jese for £7m to £10m. Clearly has not worked out for him at PSG, wouldn’t be surprised if he left.

With these sales, PSG can approximately generate £155m.

So, if PSG manage to sign Neymar & Sanchez and manage to keep Verratti, their side will become a formidable side and will look something like this.

Thoughts on Anthony Martial & Martial + 60m = Verratti deal.

Anthony Martial has been making the headlines recently, news which speculates him to a move away from Manchester United. So in the last week or 10 days, it was rumoured that Inter Milan want Martial to be included in the possible Ivan Perisic deal, either as a permanent transfer or a season long loan(which is completely daft to do). Yesterday, news broke that Manchester United are in for Italian midfield sensation Marco Verratti from PSG, which includes Martial + 60 million pounds.  Just because Verratti has appointed Mino Raiola, doesn’t mean he’s guaranteed to a move to Manchester United. Here. I am not ruling out a transfer, but I am being realistic. Think he dreams a move to Barcelona, which is exactly why he appointed Raiola. Coming to the Martial + 60 million = Verratti deal, I think its complete nonsense & lazy journalism. Reasons why: 1)            Player/Players + cash = Player, deals don’t happen. Even if it does happen in the future, it w

Why Manchester United Should Sign Perisic Instead Of Bale.

Perisic has been heavily linked to a move to Manchester United Ivan Perisic is one player, who has been constantly linked to a move to Manchester United, in this summer transfer window.  Inter Milan want £48m for him, which is beyond Manchester United’s valuation, but looking at the current market, its fair enough and matter of fact, Perisic is their best player after club captain, Mauro Icardi. So, a club is ought to try to keep hold of their best players or demand a huge fee. It’s no hidden fact, Real Madrid want to sign the teenage sensation in Kylian Mbappé. Mbappé is someone who seeks regular 1st team football, and in order to do so, one of the BBC needs to be sold. According to recent reports, Zinedine Zidane believes the club must sell Bale, if they are to sign Mbappé. Now that Barcelona is also in the race, one can expect Madrid to act quick and of course to prove “Perez always wins”. Manchester United has always shown interest in Bale, so they now lead th
